Nov 6: The Tower Comes Down Slowly, as Bricks are Packed Up

Demolition of the tower continues in tandem with the remainder of the last silo. Work at this height moves more slowly, leaving behind a gaping hole.

Meanwhile, bricks from the building along the Santa Fe Slip are packaged for storage. As a condition of the federal demolition permit, the bricks must be saved and integrated into a future riverfront path.
